Intel® SoC FPGA Embedded Development Suite (SoC EDS)
Fast-track your embedded software development.
The Intel® SoC FPGA Embedded Development Suite (SoC EDS) is a comprehensive tool suite for embedded software development on Intel® SoC FPGAs. It comprises of development tools, utility programs, and design examples to jump-start firmware and application software development.
With SoC EDS, leverage the power of Arm Development Studio (DS) Intel® SoC FPGA edition to code, build, debug, and optimize your application with support from both Intel and Arm.
The following updates are included as part of the Intel® SoC EDS v20.1 release.
Intel® SoC FPGA Embedded Development Suite (SoC EDS) can now support Intel® Agilex™ devices, Intel’s latest 10 nm FPGA SoC.
Intel’s 10nm technology-based Intel® Agilex™ FPGA and SoC devices combine agility and flexibility to deliver customized connectivity and acceleration by optimally balancing power, performance and memory utilization for a variety of compute, data, and memory intensive applications.
SoC EDS can now run on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Desktop edition. Check out our tutorial for a step-by-step explanation on how to install SoC EDS on the Ubuntu OS.
