Mesut Ali Ergin is a Research Scientist at Intel Labs where he focuses on understanding and optimizing complex systems and software, like those attempting to solve advanced networking, wireless, distributed and mobile problems. He received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and worked for Wireless Information Networks Laboratory (WINLAB) in the past.

Dr. Ergin has worked in various areas of high-performance architecture design, SDN/NFV, platform energy efficiency, wireless and mobile systems. He has been recently active in helping to make Intel the best architecture to run packet processing and other networking workloads.
