Why AdvancedTCA* Merits Serious Consideration for Defense Systems

Chances are you have heard little or nothing about this family of computing and communications specifications. Even those who know about the AdvancedTCA* (ATCA) standard—also known as PICMG 3.x—may dismiss it as a commercial technology, not suited to the rigors of warfighting systems.
